Monday the 23^rd

11.00 Gathering at campus

Your father (read fadder) will already by now divided you into different group, which will become your team for the week. There is more information gives to you by your fathers and you will also get lunch.

19.00 Cocktail mingle with JSA

JIBS student assosiation (JSA) invites all students to a cocktail mingle arranged by Sexkreation with music and mingle. It will be held at the JIBS inner courtyard and you will also get a chance to see JIBS student pub. After this, the party continues at Club Caj.

21.00 Party at Club Caj

Tuesday the 24^th

10.00 Introduction lecture

12.00 Overallceremoni and games on the field, Munksjöparken

We will begin with a large overallceremoni, and this will be the first time you are allowed to put on your green overall. Bring you overall with you and get ready to become a real Swedish student. After the ceremony it is time to start collecting points for your team. 

18.00 Traditional Overall sittning at Kulturhuset

Now you will in your overalls have your first real sittning! Unfortunately there is limited seating and only those who bought the larger kick-off packages will be able to attend. The most important part of a sittning is its atmosphere and the unique fellowship between students, the songs and the drinks. Each team will here get the chance to perform a “spex” on stage. A “spex” may be a dance to a song, singing or any other kind of performance. There will be food served!

Wednesday the 25^th

12.00 Leaving for Academic Introduction from campus

19.00 Sing-a-long at Rådhusparken

Come and join all of the students at Jönköpings University and sing-a-long to maybe your favourite song. This is a great opportunity to meet students from the other schools! This is arranged by the Student Union.

21.00 Beach party at Centrum

A great party with a genuine Hawaii beach-party theme. Honolulu flowers, bast skirts, sweet drinks and Hawaii shirts! Don’t miss it!

Thursday the 26^th

14.00 City Tour

Come and join the City Tour, in order for you to get to know Jönköping. Also a great opportunity to collect extra points for your team!

21.00 Toga party at Centrum

Come as the old Greeks would, wrapped and ready. Check out the instructions – “How to wear a toga” on page 12.

Friday the 27^th

14.00 “Happy students” at Vätterstranden

“Happy students” is a activity arranged by the Student Union, where you play games and have fun with all students at Jönköpings University.

19.00 Student Water Event at Rosenlundsbadet

SWE is a giant pool party arranged by the Student Union. Tickets are sold outside on campus at lunch time during the week. But hurry up if you want a ticket! They sell out really fast and you do not want to miss this party! And don’t forget your swim gear, because you will be wet!

Saturday the 28^th

17.00 CAPS outside Akademien

It is time for you to learn the rules of CAPS. Originally CAPS was a drinking game for business students but now all students in Jönköping play it. Let us just say it will involve you, your overall, caps and alcohol!

Sunday the 29^th

11.00 Brunch at Guvenören

This is a great opportunity to recharge your batteries to be able to last the two remaining days. The Brunch is held at Resturang Guvenören and trust us, you will need this one!

Monday the 30^th

19.00 Night-mission

This will be your last and ultimate chance to gather points for your team! Be ready to collect all the things on the list, and try to complete the missions received during the night. We will start together with all the other schools at 7pm don’t be late!

Tuesday the 31st
19.00      Finsittning at Rigoletto
Last night of the kick-off week and you will spend it at a nice dinner. There will be same awesome people but at a more formal event. Good food and wine all night and this is also the time when the winners will be presented!
