About JSA Investment Club (JIC)
Founded in 2012, the JSA Investment Club (JIC) is the student-led finance and investment organization at Jönköping University, operating under the JIBS Student Association (JSA). We aim to enhance financial literacy and provide students with hands-on experience in investment analysis, valuation, and portfolio management.
Our Mission
We bridge the gap between theory and practice by offering educational programs, competitions, and networking opportunities that help students develop real-world financial skills and professional connections.
Our History
Since its early days, JIC has partnered with Nordnet to establish a university trading room and has organized networking trips to financial hubs like London and Stockholm. After a brief pause during the pandemic, the 2024–2025 academic year marked a strong relaunch of the club led by a dynamic board committed to expanding JIC’s educational impact and national presence.
Investment Portfolio
Beyond education and events, JIC actively manages its own investment portfolio, giving members practical experience in equity research, valuation, and portfolio construction.
What We Do
Crash Courses in Company Analysis & Investing
Introduced in 2024–2025, these sessions teach students fundamental financial concepts,
valuation methods, and analytical tools used across the investment industry.
Biannual Equity Pitch Competitions
JIC analysts conduct in-depth company research and pitch high-conviction investment ideas
using professional standards of analysis and modelling.
Swedish University Pitch Competition (SUPC)
JIC represents Jönköping International Business School in the national SUPC, competing with Sweden’s top finance societies. In 2025, our team reached the final, and in 2026 we’re proud to host the competition in Jönköping.
Women in Business and Leadership
In partnership with GAIN Sweden, this initiative promotes female leadership and inclusion
in finance and business through panel discussions and guest speakers
JU Alumni in Action: Finance, Tech & Business
